Coming Soon!! World Alliance for Healthcare Simulation

The World Alliance for Healthcare Simulation will bring together healthcare simulation organizations, networks, and communities of practice from across the globe to connect, coordinate, share expertise, and develop concrete plans of action.

Building on the success of the Global Consensus Statement on Simulation-Based Practices in Healthcare and an ongoing shared perception of international need, WAHS will provide a forum for dialogue, collaboration, and the development of concrete actions on issues of broad importance to the global simulation community.

The Alliance is intended to function as a coordinating forum rather than a formal organization. This launch is supported by established international simulation societies with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, collaboration, and equity across diverse national and socioeconomic contexts. Governance has been designed to ensure that all participating organizations have an equal voice, drawing on United Nations inspired models.  As this initiative is still evolving, however, participating organizations will play an important role in shaping its future structure.
