OxSTaR PGCert and PGDip in Healthcare Systems Safety
The University of Oxford has launched a new PGCert and PGDip in Healthcare Systems Safety
designed for healthcare professionals who want to understand why safety problems occur and develop the skills to do something about them.
The part-time programme brings together human factors and ergonomics, implementation science, systems design, simulation for systems safety, safety research methods, and AI and emerging technologies.
Designed to fit alongside professionals working in clinical, educational and operational roles.
For members of the simulation community interested in moving from identifying and exploring problems through simulation to designing and implementing safer systems, this offers a new route for developing that expertise.
