Technicians and Learning Technologists SIG – Sim Tech Symposium

Members of the Sim Tech Symposium team will host this session as part of the ASPiH Technology SIG, introducing the symposium and outlining what’s to come.

Led by Matt, Hannah and Russell, the session will provide an overview of the Sim Tech Symposium, how it was established, and how it is developing into a regular, technician-led series of events.

The discussion will explore the purpose of the symposium, the approach behind it, and how it aims to create a space for technicians to connect, share experiences, and support one another across organisations. The team will also outline upcoming plans, including opportunities for wider involvement.

This informal and interactive session is aimed at anyone interested in the Sim Tech Symposium, whether you are already connected to the community or looking to get involved. It offers a practical introduction to the direction of the symposium and how technicians can take part in shaping it moving forward.
