There are two key documents we recommend you read before starting your ASPiH. Accreditation application.

Consider carefully whether you fulfill the criteria before progressing to application. To become accredited, individuals and organisations should be:

• carrying out simulation activities
• able to provide evidence to support their application
• able to meet the requirements of the standards and accreditation documentation

There are also assessment descriptor matrices to help applicants to have a better understanding of what is expected by reviewers in each of the sections of the individual and organisational application forms.

The cost of applying for accreditation are:

Individual £15.00

Organisation £100.00

Non-ASPiH members considering applying for accreditation must commit and pay for membership, either Individual or Institutional for the length of the 3-year accreditation cycle.

Re-accreditation

To be eligible to apply for re-accreditation, an individual or organisation should have: completed, and been accredited via the first-time accreditation process; and applied for re-accreditation within 2 years and 9 months of the first-time accreditation being awarded.
